A well-established nursery located near Ramada Signal, Doha, is looking for a caring, patient, and energetic Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher and provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Assist with age-appropriate learning and developmental activities.
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, rest periods, and classroom activities.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
• Assist young children with basic hygiene, feeding, and comfort needs.
• Monitor children’s wellbeing and provide appropriate support throughout the day.
• Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom setups.
• Encourage positive social interaction and age-appropriate behavior.
• Communicate positively and professionally with parents and nursery staff.
• Support classroom activities, events, and other nursery programs as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education, Nursing, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience working with toddlers or preschool children is an advantage.
• Caring, patient, energetic, and reliable personality.
• Strong interest in early childhood development and childcare.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching team.
• Willingness to work full-time, Sunday to Thursday.
• Candidates must be based in Qatar or willing to relocate.
