The candidate must have <strong>mandatory hospital or healthcare-sector financial experience<\/strong>, with a strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycles, financial sustainability, cost management, and regulatory compliance.<br><br><strong>Industry:<\/strong> Healthcare \/ Hospital<br><strong>Location:<\/strong> Qatar<br><strong>Job Posting Date:<\/strong> 13 October 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead the hospital\u2019s overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial control functions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee financial reporting, accounting, cash flow management, treasury, and financial risk management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, capital expenditure plans, and long-term financial strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor hospital revenue, operating costs, profitability, cash flow, and financial performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee healthcare revenue cycle management, including billing, insurance claims, reimbursements, collections, and receivables.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with clinical and administrative leadership to improve financial performance and cost efficiency without compromising patient care.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish and maintain robust internal controls, financial policies, and risk management procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards, tax requirements, statutory obligations, and relevant Qatar regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage relationships with banks, auditors, insurers, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluate capital investments, business cases, expansion plans, and financial feasibility of new services or projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive leadership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead and develop finance, accounting, budgeting, and revenue cycle teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Present financial reports, performance analyses, and strategic recommendations to executive management and the board, as applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional qualification such as <strong>CPA, ACCA, CA, or CMA<\/strong> is strongly preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is an advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mandatory senior-level financial management experience within a hospital or healthcare organization.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong understanding of healthcare finance, hospital cost structures, revenue cycle management, insurance claims, and payer relationships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in financial governance, risk management, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and strategic decision-making abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with Qatar\u2019s healthcare and financial regulatory environment is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Summary A leading hospital in Qatar is seeking a strategic and commercially focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial management, planning, reporting, and control functions.
