We are looking for a talented and creative Interior Designer (Lighting) to join a leading Lighting Division in Qatar. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong experience in architectural lighting design, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering innovative lighting solutions across diverse projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key Responsibilities:
\u2022 Develop architectural lighting designs for indoor and outdoor spaces, including fa\u00e7ades, interiors, landscapes, streets, and parking areas.
\u2022 Prepare lighting design concepts, layouts, calculations, and detailed documentation.
\u2022 Create high-quality visual presentations including renderings, visualizations, and concept boards.
\u2022 Utilize lighting design software such as DIALux, Photoshop, and V-Ray to produce accurate simulations and visuals.
\u2022 Prepare and contribute to GSAS reports and ensure sustainability requirements are met.
\u2022 Review lighting technical specifications to ensure compliance with project standards.
\u2022 Assess manufacturer shop drawings and lighting fixture specifications.
\u2022 Ensure proper material selection and finishes are aligned with project requirements.
\u2022 Coordinate with consultants, clients, and stakeholders to obtain design approvals.
\u2022 Prepare and manage material submittals and ensure timely approvals.
\u2022 Ensure compliance with international and local lighting standards including IES and CIBSE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Requirements:
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Architecture or related field.
\u2022 5\u20138 years of proven experience in architectural lighting design.
\u2022 Strong understanding of lighting systems, fixtures, and technologies.
\u2022 Proficiency in DIALux, Photoshop, and V-Ray.
\u2022 Strong knowledge of lighting codes, standards, and energy efficiency regulations.
\u2022 Excellent visualization and presentation skills.
\u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to review technical documentation.
\u2022 Strong communication and coordination skills.
\u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Preferred Skills:
\u2022 Experience with sustainable design frameworks such as GSAS or similar.
