A leading hospital in Qatar is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily hospital operations, improve operational efficiency, coordinate departmental activities, and ensure high standards of patient service. The successful candidate must have substantial experience in hospital or healthcare operations and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a complex healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administrative and operational activities across hospital departments.
• Ensure smooth coordination between clinical, non-clinical, administrative, and support services.
• Monitor operational performance, service delivery, productivity, and patient flow.
• Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
• Develop and monitor operational plans, performance indicators, budgets, and service standards.
• Coordinate staffing, resource allocation, facilities, and other operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, quality standards, and patient safety requirements.
• Work closely with medical leadership and department heads to address operational issues and improve service delivery.
• Monitor patient waiting times, appointment coordination, admission and discharge processes, and service bottlenecks, as applicable.
• Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives, operational audits, and risk management procedures.
• Prepare operational reports and present performance updates and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead, guide, and evaluate operational teams to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Mandatory hospital or healthcare operations experience.
• Proven experience managing hospital operations, healthcare administration, or multidisciplinary service teams.
• Strong understanding of hospital workflows, patient services, healthcare quality, and operational performance management.
• Demonstrated leadership, planning, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in budgeting, resource management, process improvement, and performance monitoring.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare accreditation and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Qatar’s healthcare environment is preferred.
