Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CE-category tractor units with semi-trailers on international routes across Europe.
- Transport and deliver freight according to assigned schedules and delivery requirements.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Comply with European road traffic regulations, driving hours, rest periods, and tachograph requirements.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and report any damage, delays, accidents, or vehicle defects.
- Maintain accurate transport documentation, delivery records, and required cross-border paperwork.
- Coordinate with dispatchers and logistics teams regarding routes, schedules, and delivery updates.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Follow company procedures and international transport safety standards.
✅ Requirements:
- Experience with tractor-unit / semi-trailer combinations (CE category)
- Demonstrable international transport experience
- Previous EU driving experience (a strong advantage)
- Valid heavy-vehicle (CE) driving license
- Willingness to relocate to Romania for a large international freight company
