We are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to lead the design, coordination, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across projects and facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in building services, project coordination, and compliance with local regulations in Qatar.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure system reliability
• Manage facility improvement and MEP projects, including budgets and timelines
• Review and approve MEP design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Support tendering and procurement processes, including BOQ preparation and technical evaluations
• Conduct site inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (QCDD, Kahramaa, Ashghal) and international standards
• Lead and mentor engineering and maintenance teams
• Optimize energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
• Prepare budgets and manage procurement for MEP systems and equipment
• Develop emergency response plans and backup system readiness

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in MEP engineering or facility engineering
• UPDA certification preferred
• CFM or QCDD certifications will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance software, and energy management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office (BIM knowledge is an advantage)
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills
