🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for construction projects.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Prepare cost estimates and support project budgeting activities.
- Review architectural drawings and project specifications to identify material and quantity requirements.
- Monitor project quantities, costs, variations, and commercial requirements.
- Support tendering and estimation activities.
- Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Assist with cost comparison, commercial evaluation, and recommendations.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
- Identify variations, additional works, and potential cost impacts.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Maintain accurate QS documentation, measurement records, and commercial reports.
- Provide quantity and cost information to support project decision-making.
🔹 Mandatory Requirements
- Must be a qualified Architect.
- Strong, hands-on Quantity Surveying (QS) experience.
- Proven experience in:
- BOQ preparation
- Quantity take-offs
- Cost estimation
- Measurement and valuation
- Project commercial activities
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
